SolarFlair created a unique financing product for this project that allowed Conigliaro Industries to avoid upfront capital costs and instead pay for the system over time with the utility savings. This allows Conigliaro to start saving money from day one. Total electrical savings will be more than $1,000,000 over the 25 year life of the system. In partnership with Synergy Investments, Solarflair provided design and installation services for this 63 kW grid-tied solar photovoltaic project.

Through the Commonwealth Solar Program and a grant from the Federal Stimulus Package, Solarflair was able to secure rebates worth more than 60% of the system cost. In addition to the financial savings, Conigliaro now has a highly visible system to show the community that they are not just recyclers, but also committed to zero emissions clean energy systems.
